This 40km return training route departs Dwight Municipal Office/Library at Hwy 60 and heads to the West Gate of Algonquin Provincial Park. This route offers wide paved shoulders all the way into and across the park, and the trip can be extended if you choose to continue further into the park before turning back. Washrooms are available at the West Gate, as well as an information kiosk if you’d like to visit some of the other trails inside the park while visiting. The route has a total ascent of 379.53 m and has a maximum elevation of 450.14 m.
