Description
This 113km return route begins at the West Gate of Algonquin Provincial Park. You may park here, and must purchase a day use permit. You’ll then cycle through the park to the East Gate and return. There are facilities located at the various campgrounds along the way, as well as a number of hiking and lookout trails you can take advantage of with your permit. If you get hungry, there is a restaurant at the Visitors Centre, as well as a diorama and a number of exhibits to explore explaining the park’s natural and cultural history. The route has a total ascent of 1150.74 m and has a maximum elevation of 508.04 m.
