Description
Starting from Ecclestone Cycle, this out and back route will take you to Gull Lake Rotary Park (17.5km each way) where you can enjoy the public beach and go for a swim. There are public washrooms located on site as well. Ride away from Gull Lake Rotary Park two blocks and visit The Bakery (look for the yellow awning) at Brock St & Muskoka Rd S, and then continue down Brock St to Bay St and around to the beautiful Muskoka Wharf. Here you will find a number of wonderful restaurants, shops, and attractions, like the Muskoka Steamships and Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre. If you happen to be there on a Wednesday between their operating dates from May-October, you won’t want to miss a stop at the Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market (20km each way). The route has a total ascent of 323.45 m and has a maximum elevation of 282.36 m.
