The Sun to Stars 8 Hour Race Loop – 2018 Revised Route is located on site at the Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre. This is the route that was planned and used for the 2018 edition of the MB Relay Race event after the course was revised to take better advantage of the the trail conditions at that time. The first half of the loop (including the classics Weasel and Rattlesnake) is identical to the 2016 and 2017 races. After Rattlesnake, the course takes Rattlesnake Return and then feeds into the fantastic and fun new singletrack trails Bear Cub and Grizzly Bear 2, before finishing on the rolling doubletrack of Bunny. Top riders may be able to clear the course in about 25 minutes, but most riders will be closer to 30-35 minutes per lap. Course length is 5.7km, with less than 100m climb per lap (feels like more, with multiple small climbs).
